President’s sports club has made a considerable contribution to the future results of talented Belarusian chess players.

On May 30, 2008 in the National Olympic Chess and Checkers Training Center a large-scale joint project was launched.  It was initiated by the Republican State and Public Association “President’s Sports Club” and the Belarusian Chess Federation.

According to the project 64 organizations like chess sections, schools, clubs, chess offices of in Minsk, regional centers and other towns received laptops.

Thousands of young chess players will be able not only to improve their skills with laptop. They will also become the participants of the interactive lessons and conferences, test their skills interactive games and tournaments, as well as find useful chess information on the web-portal – “Open chess” ( www.openchess.by ).
