In 2009 a special project was launched in order to support the Belarusian biathlon and ski racing sport.

Under the project 49 schools were involved in biathlon and ski races. They received 1 244 kits of ski-roller equipment, that included roller skies, ski poles and boots both for the classic and free styles. In the current climate conditions, when the long snowy winters are quite rare nowadays, boys and girls have the opportunity to train all year round. Hopefully this project will favour the growth of the results and support the status of the Republic of Belarus as one of the leading biathlon countries.
