During the last spring days President’s sports club took part in 3 events.

From 27th till 30th of May, 2009 inhabitants and visitors of coastal settlements of Zaslavskoe water basin had an opportunity to observe fascinating competitions of young yachtsmen.

The open championship and «Dynamo» competition on sailing for the prizes of frontier guards heroes gathered about 40 participants who competed in various classes of yachts. Various weather conditions didn’t interfere in races and all of them passed successfully. Competitions finished with colorful closing ceremony where the most successful and lucky yachtsmenreceived well-deserved rewards and prize, also from the President’s sports club. For the very first time Children's gymnastics tournament «Maugli Cup» united the smallest gymnasts and their parents on May, 31. That competition was held in the Republican Olympic track and field Center in Minsk.

Children from 3 till 5 years competed in 3 age groups: "Sparrows" (born in year 2006) "Swifts" (2005) and "Eaglets" (2003-2004.). Kids showed their achievements in group and pair exercises, and also solo on shells and carpet. Spectators were entertained not only by small gymnasts, but also by fairy tails heroes show, colorful concert program and exhibition performances of the “Maugli” club pupils.

All participants of the tournament received large number of prizes. Both children and their parents got gifts from organizers and partners of the tournament. President’s sports club established special prizes for trainers.

On May, 31 in Minsk Palace of children and youth the 27th charity action «Sportsmen - to children» took place. These actions are held in the country since year 2003 and had time to capture lots of small towns and settlements in Belarus. Their basic goal - not only to give material aid to pupils of orphanages, social homes and large families, but also to please guys with performances of popular artists and a chance to socialize with the best sportsmen of the country.

President’s sports club is the traditional participant of these actions. And this time support has been rendered to the Minsk orphans and children school №5, who have stayed without trusteeship of parents and to the Orphanage №6. Guys with uneasy destiny received tennis tables from the club.
