During 4 days of teams from regions and capital city of Minsk revealed the strongest team on ice arena of sports complex of the Polesye State University.

Group One consisted of Minsk, Gomel and Brest teams, Group Two – teams from Vitebsk, Grodno and Mogilev regions.

According to the results of group stage Minsk and Vitebsk teams reached the final. Hockey players from the capital city outscored the opponents from the north  4:1 and won the gold medals. Mogilev team was stronger and with the score 3:1 beat the hosts, team of the Brest region, in the bronze medals game.

Dmitry Zhuravsky (Minsk) was named as the best goalkeeper of the tournament, Denis Kurtsevich (Brest region) as the best defender,  Daniil Garnitsky (Vitebsk region) as the best forward and Dmitry Nishchik (Minsk) as the best scoring player.

This tournament was held for the first time, but already promised to become traditional. Its purpose is to involve students, pupils and employees of educational establishments into sports and preparation for the successful performance of the Belarus amateur hockey teams on international scene as well.

Among the organizers of competitions were Republican State and Public Association “President`s sports club", the Ministry of sports and tourism and the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus, Association “Belarusian ice hockey Federation".
