In the first games of the second day of the 7th Christmas International Amateur Ice Hockey Tournament for the prize of the President of the Republic of Belarus were fixed quite expected results. Finns beat Austrians (9:2) and in the match between Ukrainians and Slovaks - 6:1. Finns, who defeated Germans the previous day, had to deal with their southern neighbours. Scandinavians did not repeat mistakes from the previous game and immediately took initiative in their hands. Two goals in the first two minutes determined who would be the boss on the ice. Till the end of the first third of the match goalkeeper of Austrians had to do an unpleasant procedure of getting puck from his own gate six times. Time-out, which team from Alps took on the 12th minute did not help a lot. Good team action of the Finnish national team left opponents with no chances to win. Excellent understanding of each other that showed blue-white players made the spectators admire the Finnish extravaganza. Scandinavians got an impressive victory with a score 9:2 and almost ensured their Friday visit on Minsk-Arena. Worth noting Niko Mikkola with a "hat-trick" and Mikko Myllykoski, who made four assists. As Man of the match Slovakia - Ukraine were recognized: Ladislav Krainak (Team Slovakia) and Sergey Suprun (Team Ukraine ), who scored twice.
