Team “Berezina” from Borisov district of Minsk region became the winner of the Republican Junior and Youth finals "Leather Ball" in Football for the Prizes of the President`s Sports Club in junior age group, held in Pruzhany.

Young footballers, that come from the same city as Belarus football champion BATE Borisov outplayed team “Vympel” (Railway District, Gomel). Team from Sozh river banks reached the final second time in a row, but lost again. After goalless draw the best team was determined in penalty shoot-out - 0:0 (2:1 – ps, “Berezina“).  

Match for the third place was also low-scoring. Team “Atlant” (Miory district, Vitebsk region) made the single goal and knocked out team ”Tornado” (Moscow district, Minsk city) from the podium.

Best Players of the Tournament were recognized: Goalkeeper – Evgeny Kondratenko (“Vympell”), Defender – Alexander Latushkin (“Berezina“), Midfielder – Vladislav Romanyuk (“Fakel”, Drogichyn district, Brest region), Forward – Aleksei Zhuravskiy ("Atlant"), best scorer of the tournament – Yuri Berezovsky (“Vympel”).

Audience choice award was delivered to the only girl Mariya Belobrovina.

In the competition “best football technique” the main prize was won by Vladislav Kruk (team "Fakel"). Vasily Sovpel (team "Partizan") and Alexander Svirsky ("Berezina") were respectively on the second and third step of the podium. Team rating in the mentioned above competition: 1. "Atlant", 2. "Berezina", 3. "Torch".

All competitors received a commemorative gift, soccer balls, and the winners were awarded with medals, special cups and certificates.
