The strongest got the Cup

Russian Junior team (U-16) won the International Ice Hockey Junior Tournament "President's Sport Club Cup" 2010. Three victories against Poles (8:1), Slovaks (9:1) and Belarusians (6:1) gave them the opportunity to take the trophy to Russia after it had spent two years at home.

Team of Sergey Suyarkov was obviously the strongest on the tournament despite the fact they were younger than guys from Poland and Belarus. Hosts took the second place. In tough starting match against team Slovakia they managed to keep the lead till the final horn - 2:1. Vladislav Zhuravlev became the star in the game against Poles (7:4), scoring 3 goals (2 of them, while Belarus played shorthaded) and added 2 asissits.

Slovak team with head coach Branislav Shaiban made a good impression and looking forward to visit Belarus next year.

12.11 Russia (U-16) - Poland (U-18) 8:1 (1:0, 4:0, 3:1); Belarus (U-17) - Slovakia (U-16) 2:1 (1:0, 0:0, 1:1). 

13.11 Slovakia - Russia 1:9 ( 0:1, 0:2, 1:6), Poland - Belarus 3:7 (0:4, 2:2, 1:1).

14.11 Slovakia - Poland 4:1 (1:1, 1:0, 2:0), Belarus - Russia 1:6 (1:3, 0:0, 0:3).
