Team Russia won the International Ice Hockey Junior Tournament "President's Sport Club Cup" for the second time in a row and took away the trophy back to homeland. In the final match on the ice rink of Hockey Club "Yunost-Minsk" Pavel Baulin`s team outplayed Belarusians – 4:2. The final game between neighboring countries became the climax of the tournament. Overcrowded stands, presence of Russian fans and intriguing match – all that made a real hockey night. Belarusians were missing their best scorer Igor Leonenko and first-line defender Alexander Platonenko, who were disqualified in yesterday's game against Slovenes. Start of the game was after Russians, who didn`t give hosts any chance to visit their zone in the first five minutes. Later Andrei Kovalev`s players found the way to even the situation on ice. That efforts led to goal of Vyacheslav Fadeev - 1:0. However, Belarusians lead was over in two minutes, when Russian team scored twice in fifteen seconds.
