President`s Sports Club is the Republican State and Public Association created under the initiative of the sports public of all regions of the Republic of Belarus and Minsk city. Belarusian sportsmen, veterans of sports, coaches, heads and teachers of sports schools in July, 2005 were united in the non-profitable organization to support sport sand health movement in the country, to create necessary conditions for sports and physical activities, organization of active leisure.

Under a symbolical torch of President`s Sports Club pass the various sports projects covering the increasing amount of sports. For example, the club has been among organizers of:

Hockey popularization is an important task for the President's Sports Club. Minsk Amateur Ice Hockey Championship is held under supervision of the Club. International Junior Tournament "Cup of the President’s Sports Club" was founded in order to get the invaluable game experience for the young players. The Since 2007 Club is among the organizers of the International Ice Hockey Tournament "Polesie Cup". Thanks to the games with teams from other countries in this tournament, Belarus national ice hockey team prepares itself for more important challenges.  Republican Ice Hockey Amateur Games are held all over Belarus for the prizes of the President’s Sports Club.

The Club has developed a special program which provides grants to the talented coaches and young sportsmen of the Republic of Belarus. In the last 5 years over 650 of them received grants. Results of the grantholders prove the way of this project development. For example, 29 grant holders took part in Olympic Games in Beijing and 5 of them were on podium, 23 athletes reached top-10. Extensive charity program acts for the preschool organizations as well. Nowadays more than 90 kindergartens around the country received different sports equipment: gym equipment, skates, bicycles, inflatable swimming pools and lots of other things. Since year 2006 President's sports club takes part in charity activities "From sportsmen to children".

President's Sports Club takes part in organization of the sports holidays and shows. "Triumph. To Sports Heroes 2008" is the brightest and the biggest sports TV project in the history of the Belarusian TV. It is held only in Olympic years. During the vote stage the whole country is involved in choosing the best of the best of the sports year. Winners, Belarusian sportsmen and sportswomen, are awarded with statuettes "Triumph".

The club holds the active charity program all over Belarus. From October  2006 President`s Sports Club regularly takes part in the nationwide charity project "Sportsmen - to Children". Among the participants of the project there are also members of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus, officials of various sports organizations, famous Belarusian athletes, actors and journalists. They all visit different places across Belarus in order to help orphans and disabled children, orphanages, shelters and foster families.

President's Sports Club has made a serious contribution for the future achievements of the talented Belarusian chess players. According to the project 64 organizations like chess sections, schools, clubs, chess offices of in Minsk, regional centers and other towns received laptops.Thousands of young chess players will be able not only to improve their skills with laptop. They will also become the participants of the interactive lessons and conferences, test their skills interactive games and tournaments, as well as find useful chess information on the web-portal – “Open chess” ( www.openchess.by ).

"Never stop and work for progress" - this credo of the professional sportsman like nothing better shows the main standard in President's Sports Club activities.
