One more motive

Good result for Belarus team on the 2010 IIHF World Championship in Germany will not only make happy sports fans, but also will contribute to the development of children and youth hockey in the country.

National hockey team of Belarus will have another drive to win at the world championship in Germany. Just after its arrival in Frankfurt coaches of our team received message from Belarus. Management of the President`s Sports Club wished the Belarusian hockey players and coaches good luck, success and announced that each player, who would score the game winning goal at the World Championships in Germany, as well as the goalkeeper with shutout game, would receive from the President`s Sports Club Certificate worth 25 million Belarusian rubles (equal to app. 6 500 €). Hockey players will be able to transfer this sum to any of the children and youth hockey sports schools on the territory of the Republic of Belarus to strengthen its infrastructure and organization of competitions.

Chairman of the President`s Sports Club Dmitry Lukashenko noted in his message that the successful performance of the team at the World Championship in Germany would further promote hockey in the Republic of Belarus and push the development of children's hockey.

"You are examples for thousands of young hockey players, who are your most faithful fans. We wish you success, good luck and brilliant victories for the good of the Belarusian ice hockey!"- said Dmitry Lukashenko.

Certificates for 25 million Belarusian rubles will be transferred to our hockey players during the World Championship. At the end of their performances in Germany players will choose the hockey schools, where they donate this money.
