On the 31 of January finished the voting for the best athletes in the contest "Triumph. Sports Heroes 2010." 1,342,265 people took part in choosing the best of the best in following nominations "Team of the Year", "Athlete of the Year", "Sportswoman of the Year" and "Coach of the Year" all over the country. 

The most active voting was going in Vitebsk region, where more than 220,000 people determined the best sports heroes of the passed year. Total number of voters declined slightly compared to 2008 (1,495,838 people), but still considered a significant percentage (over 14%) of the total population of the Republic of Belarus. 

A few days later special meeting of the expert jury determined the winners in the following categories "Result of the Year", Breakthrough of the Year", "For the will to win" and "The Most Striking Sports Moment of the Year" 

Now the contest is ready for its climax. On February 25, during the Awards Ceremony in Minsk Sports Palace the country will find out its sports heroes of the year. The ceremony will be broadcasted on the same day at the First National Channel.
