One of the biggest and most successful projects of the President’s sports club are the Republican Junior and Teenager Competitions in Biathlon, Skiing and Air-gun Shooting “Snow Sniper” for the prizes of the President’s Sports Club
Competitions have taken a leading position in number of participants among similar tournaments from the moment of the birth of. More then 207 thousand boys and girls from all parts of the country took part in the first “Snow Sniper”. Five years in a row capital of Belarus welcomes the best shooters and skiers from all regions of the Republic and city of Minsk. To let you know, only amateurs of biathlon can take part in competitions, which are not training in the specialized sport establishments. 
Young sportsmen are divided in two age groups: junior (11-12 years) and senior (13-14 years). They start to compete on school, area and regional stages of “Snow Sniper”. The most accurate and fastest boys and girls struggle for awards in the republican finals.
The final of competitions lasts two days. The first one is devoted to air-gun in shooting. On the second day participants traditionally meet on the Minsk roller and ski track, where the main action happens. Fans from different areas of Belarus gather in capital of our native land not only to support their teams and their children or friends, but also to get into atmosphere of a sports holiday. In fact besides competitions in ski races, they can enjoy the colorful concert show with participation of popular Belarus singers and unforgettable fireworks.
Young amateurs of biathlon also have an opportunity to communicate with their favorite sportsmen. Such honorable guests as Sergey Bulygin, Svetlana Paramygina, Oleg Ryzhenkov, Igor Basinsky, Elena Zubrilova, Sergey Dolidovich, Darya Domracheva and Lyudmila Ananko visited the finals of the competitions.
By quantity of prizes and gifts to the participants "Snow Sniper" can compete with highest international competitions. Besides winner’s cups, medals and diplomas, each finalist receives the whole complete set of various souvenir productions, and also all necessary sports equipment to enjoy favorite kind of sports.
There is a certain possibility that the young sportsmen, who have shown in the republican finals the highest results, are not only potential candidates for transfer to the specialized sports establishments, but, in the long term, and in national biathlon team of the country.
