Team Germany has never managed to get into the final round of the Christmas International Tournament. They have got local victories in the games with Finns and Canadians. As a matter of fact, two years in a row Germans showed absolutely identical results in Minsk, gaining the same number of points, scoring and conceding the same amount of goals. However, the coaching staff says that these series are to be over this season.

Encouraged by the success of the national team on home world championships, team Germany will come to Minsk with a desire to show the best result. Roster of the team was filled in by the coaching staff literally with a professional point of view. 18 of the 22 players represented in the roster, had a serious experience in German professional ice hockey clubs.
