Team Slovakia is taking part in the Christmas International Tournament for the fifth time. Their best result was shown in the very first tournament, when they took fourth place, having lost to Czech Republic team with a minimal goal difference.

According to the coaching staff of Slovaks, they seriously come to the preparation process and the team roster. This year, the composition will be the strongest in the history of team`s participation in the tournament. On the proposal to show themselves in Minsk the players responded, who played in clubs in Germany and the Czech Republic, in the past - players of the national team with experience in the German DEL-league.
