    Polesie Cup 2010

    "Polesie Cup" is a young hockey tournament founded in February 2007 in one of the most beautiful and scenic places on the Republic of Belarus. The first tournament deeply impressed foreign visitors not only by the extraordinary beauty of the Belarusian Polesie and hospitality of the hosts of competitions, but also by the excellent game of Belarus team, which from the very beginning started the winning series. The trophy never left the borders of the Republic of Belarus in the last three years.

    During that time teams from Russia, Latvia, Ukraine, Denmark, France and Canada took part in competitions. All foreign guests appreciated the high level of organization of competitions, the activity of the fans and the warm welcome of the hosts. 

    International Ice Hockey Tournament "Polesie Cup" is one of the important stages of the preparation of the Belarus national hockey team for the main games of the season and from year 2008 is one of the stages of the international tournament "European Hockey Challenge".
     
    The Last (3rd) tournament was held in two countries: one group played in the Ukrainian capital of Kiev city. The tournament is growing, expanding its borders, but its homeland and the venue will always remain the Belarusian Polesie.


    The organizers of the tournament are:

    Association "Belarus Ice Hockey Federation" , Ministry of Sports and Tourism of the Republic of Belarus, Republican State and Public Association "President’s Sports Club", Zhlobin Executive Committee, Bobruisk Executive Committee.

    The Partners of the tournament are:

    Company "BT Telecommunications" of the closed joint stock company - "Beltechexport company", "Austrian airlines", "Univest-M" group of companies, "Belarusian Potash Company", "Tapas", "Chistyi Bereg", "Neman" glass factory, "Bobrov", National Teleradiocompany of the Republic of Belarus, Belarusian Metall Factory, "Belshina", "Pressball" newspaper.
